Out Damn Spot 3

Well, it's official - I can't see the spot on the right hand at all now. That's about 3.5 weeks! Pretty spectacular! The one on the left hand is fading fast, although it is still visible. Out Damn Spot 3

Amazing results... The right hand spot near the knuckles is visible in my 10x mirror - but not with the naked eye. There is a little bit of darker skin (maybe 1/4 inch in diameter), and that's it. That is through 2 weeks of treatment with REVERSE regimen. The left hand one is still visible but is fading - the edges are much less distinct and the overall color is improved by at least 3 shades. So, I know it's there, but you wouldn't. I am so excited at these results. A person's hands are often the giveaway to one's age. Let's make sure that your hands don't give away your age. Out Damn Spot 2

I have been paying special attention to my own hands after noticing one of my friends hands last week. Her face looks forty, but her hands do show the full extent of her years. So I decided to spend the next month with special attention to one large (1/2 inch circumference - just always wanted to use that word in a blog :^) brown spot on each hand. One is more prominent than the other because of where it sits just about in the middle of my left hand. What am I doing? I'm using the REVERSE regimen from Rodan + Fields religiously on both hands and forearms. This includes a cleanser, a spot-fading toner, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen to prevent further damage. I wish I had started with a good close up photo of both hands. But I didn't plan this all that well... So I'm 5 days into this now, and I can observe a difference without a close look. The one on the right hand is clearly much less visible - the left hand looks pretty much the same to me. But I am excited that 5 days has made a difference. Is your face ready for HiDef?

In my last post, I talked about treating your hands as well as you do your face, to turn back the hands of time. Today, I want to observe something else I've noticed recently. Even relatively young women on cable aren't looking that fabulous these days, due to high definition TV. Skincare really needs to be first and foremost in the age of this type of broadcast tech. You can't cover up imperfections with makeup in high def - the expanded pixels just pick up the light and highlight the cover. So the answer really needs to be great skincare, not makeup or coverage. Pick a regimen that is compounded for your skin type and issues. All natural ingredients are nice to have but clinical research shows that chemical ingredients like the ones in Rodan + Fields' regimens improve the outcomes and performance of the products. Remember the sunscreen as well as the moisturizer. The right regimen should have the right ingredients, be used in the right order, and used regularly as directed. Make sure you use the products on your neck and upper chest as well. So many times, high def reveals a line along the jaw - the skincare products weren't used to the best benefit by continuing along the neck and decolletage.
