I had the wrong idea about clean

I was always a soap and water girl, to cleanse my face. I can't imagine it now, but growing up that meant Dial and hot water at home. When I went out on my own, I migrated to Ivory (even before I was offered a job at P&G) and still used warmer water. What I've learned over the years is: One cannot use a mask even an herbal one on sensitive skin Warm or hot water is not helpful in cleansing Apricot and other natural scrubs may be fine for some people but not me Washing with water can be drying to older skin Clean doesn't mean stripping the oils out of your skin So now with all of this hard-earned and red-faced learning, what am I doing? I'm cleansing without water with a very mild cleanser, followed by a toner, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. Religiously. And my skin looks great, for any age.
